Chocolate Kisses...Yum!

Good Morning!
Saturday is here and that means it's time for a new challenge over at Just Us Girls and our hostest Vicki has come up with this color combo to work with this week for our monthly color challenge.

These colors are just right for the card I created this week with a stamp from MFT called Who's That Chocoholic for Valentine's Day!

With Sympathy

Good Morning!
This week our hostest over at Just us Girls is Lynn and she has this really cool technique called collage stamping for us to try and here is the link to a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers.  For my first layer I used PTI's Background Basics: Text Style II stamp set in Tim Holtz Distress ink Pumice Stone and then layered the next image from the stamp set called Life over it in Bundled Sage.  I inked up the edges with Pumice stone.  I then added my sentiment on a spellbinders die label and stamped it with this stamp set from Waltzingmouse.  I hope you get a chance to try this technique out with us this week!

Snowy Afternoon = Date in the Cafe

Hello!
Well I find myself home for the afternoon due to the snow storm here in northern New England.  We've been without snow (not that I'm a big fan of it anymore) so far this winter and we really need it!  Maybe now I'll be able to pull out my snow shoes and the boys can finally use there ski passes!  Yee! Haw!
So the afternoon home has allowed me to play along with one of my favorites The Play Date Cafe!  I just love being in my craft room with free time.  Now these colors are not colors I would ever think to put together but ya' know they do look good together.

This is the new stamp set called Stitches & Swirls from PTI.  I stamped my image and then colored my flowers in with some distress inks of Tim Holtz's in Aged Mahogany and Tea Dye ( the closest to gold I could get)  for my purple I used PTI's Plum Pudding.  In the center of my purple flowers I used some gold stickles

Thanks for stopping by!

That a Wrap!

For this months Year in Review I'm sharing another one of my favorite templates that Lauren has created.   This one is called That's a Wrap.  I used some of the new digi papers from ther Island Kiss collection.  Love these new papers!!!

My sentiment is from the So Sentimental stamp set.  I just stamped it four times in alternating colors to match the papers I used.  The cupcake image is from the Sweet Treats digi set.   I made my card using this weeks Just Us Girls sketch.

Hey Cupcake!

Good Morning!

I'm here with this fab new template from My Time Made Easy called Hey Cupcake.    This is such a cute template idea for giving that someone special a little sweet treat!  I made these yummy cupcakes that I had to keep hidden in the bottom of my fridge away from my three boys!  (Not an easy task I might add!)  I didn't want them to eat them in case I needed to retake my pictures. LOL!!!
I used some of the new digi papers from the Candy Kiss collection along with my cupcake image from the new Sweet Treats digi set along with the cordinating sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments digi set.

A peek at the inside.

A "Sketchy" Frog

My Time Made Easy post scroll down please!

Good Morning!
Here we are with our first challenge of the new year and our hostest with the mostest is the very talented Pam and she has come up with this fun little sketch for us to play with this weeks Just Us Girls challenge.  It's also the beginning of a new month and that means it's time to introduce to you our guest designer for January and that is Kylie from down under!  Please give her a warm welcome when you pop over to her blog!

I used this fun little set called Frog Hop from PTI that has the cordinating die cuts which made this very easy to put together!  I had a piece of Woodgrained paper I had run thru my cuttlebug awhile ago setting on my desk that went perfectly.  I hope you get a chance to play along with JUGS this week!

A Sweet Treat

Good Morning!
Here we finaly are with the January release for My Time Made Easy!  The extra week has allowed me to get out of Christmas mode and into our next holiday...Valentines Day!  I used some paper that I hadn't gotten a chance to use from last months release called Amour for my Sweet Treat Tote template. I decided to make my window a heart opening instead of the original cutout.  Just by changing that up makes the possibilities for this template unlimited!  There are three different inserts for this template so be sure to check out Debbie and Monique's blogs for a peek at the other options this  template comes with.

For my heart window I cut out a piece of clear card stock and adhered it to the back of the heart window.  I made my bow with ribbon based off the Abra-Bow-Dabra cut file to match my box.

Here is a look  at the box opened up.

I hope you like what you see here and on Monique and Debbie's blogs today!
Everything will be available in the My Time Made Easy Store.

Enjoy!
