Get Sketchy #27

Hello

I have a friend who needed me to make a few cards to go with some gifts for her sisters bridal shower and while I was trying to get inspired I stumbled onto Get Sketchy which was a sketch challenge that looked fun! (I saved them to my favs so I can come and play next week too!)

So here is my card I used My Favorite Things-Time for the Bubbly stamp set along with the paper pack Egg Hunt from PTI. I paper pieced the image together. One of my favorite techniques! I used epoxy dome stickers over coordinating DP to make my embellishments. That's about it I hope you like it! Have a good one!

Color Dare #57

Good Morning!

This is my card for this weeks Color Dare challenge. I used a digi image from Stretch N' Bubbles. This is actually a free image from this Wednesday so if you like it go grab it! I thought it would be perfect for the color choice this week. I finished this last night but wasn't sure about the dew drops in the upper corners. I liked it without better so I decided to sleep on it and ended up keeping them and i'm still not sure. LOL! My cards never turn out like my original idea. I drive myself nuts!

Secret Crafters Saturday challenge #72

Today is the perfect day to be crafting. There is white fluffy snow that has been falling on and off throughout the day we must have got another six inches or so and I'm nice and cozy here in my craft room with a glass of wine... Aaah life could not be better!

Well it's time for another Saturday challenge over at the Secret Crafter. The challenge this week was to use some sort of stitching on your project. Seeing I'm still "workin' " on my sewing skills I opted to just do a border. I didn't want to get frustrated! I used one of my new Wink Wink Ink images along with a sentiment from PTI's Inside & Out: Baby. I embossed the sentiment in white and then went over each line with my Copic marker R30 the same I one I used on the baby blanket. I thought it looked neat. Lastly I punched out some mini stars I punched out.

The Play Date Cafe #18

Hello
Another week gone by already and I can hardly believe that March is just around the corner. Well I wanted snow for the kids school vacation and it came yesterday and basically got washed away by all the rain we've been getting since last night! It's been pouring cats and dogs! It's not suppose to rain in the winter! Anyway... here is my card for The Play Date Cafe challenge-black and white with a splash of teal. Love this color combination. I used Tilly the cow from Cookie Crumbs because I didn't have a Nun stamp (what else is black and white?) LOL! I used the new Asian Fusion stamp set from PTI to make my own DP paper. Hope you like her! Have a good one!

3 Trees 3 Birds

Good Morning!

Here is my card for digi free Wednesday at Stretch N' Bubbles. I tried something a little different for me on this card. I colored just around the tree tops with my copics. I used the darker of the two closest to the tree tops blending with the lightest out just a little bit instead of coloring the whole sky blue. I like how it came out. Don't forget to swing by SNB to get your free image!

Hand Full of Stamps #17

Hello
The challenge over at Hand Full of Stamps was to create a card or project using the theme Wishes. I used my digi image from Stretch N' Bubbles called Chick Love. I printed them out on some DP paper and then cut them out. Colored the flower, legs and nose with my Copics. I used my new DP paper (Egg Hunt). I think it's so pretty! I used my impression plate from PTI to emboss the green paper and added white dots with my inkessential pen. You would probably have to zoom in to see that. It shows up better in person it looks very delicate. I stitched my flowers and ribbon onto my card to give it an airy look if there is such a thing! LOL! I hope you like it!

Critter Sketch Challenge #2

Hello!

If your looking for my Stretch N' Bubbles post scroll down it's right below this.

We are into our second week over at The Critter Sketch Challenge blog. We had a great turnout for our first challenge and I can't wait to see what everyone does with this weeks challenge!

This week it is a sketch challenge that has to have a minimum of two brads on it.

We also have a special sponsor this week Wags 'n Whiskers The image I chose is called Happy Day from their new February release The Wee Ones.

There is nothing we like more than SURPRISING our challenge participants. We will normally only have 1 give a way a month. It will be given at the end of the month. We were not going to give our first one until the end of March. However we thought it would be fun to SURPRISE you and give one away at the end of this week. Stamp and Create has teamed with us to sponsor our blog. Stamp and Create offers amazing products and their customer service is out of this world. They will be offering one lucky winner at $15 gift certificate to their awesome, amazing store.

I colored her in with my Copics and cut her out so that I could give her some dimension. I added pop-ups on the right side of her only so it would look like she was running off the card! LOL!Probably easier to see that in person! I think she is just adorable.

Good Monday Morning!

Well there is no rushing out the door for school this week the kids are on vacation which makes it nice and peaceful here in my neck of the woods this morning. I just wish we would get some snow! I know you guys have had enough but we have grass in February! It's just not normal! It feels like early April and I just know we are gonna pay for this. We will probably have snow in May when I'm ready for the beach!!!

Anyway on to my card this little guy is available today at Stretch N' Bubbles. I colored him in with my copics and then cut him out and added pop-ups behind him for a little dimension. I hope you like him! Have a great day!

Just Us Girls Color Challenge #21

Well I seem to be on a good roll tonight. It must be because it's so quite here. The kids are all out with friends and the hubby is working. It's just me and the critters. I got my PTI order in this afternoon so I get to play with all my new stuff. This is the new stamp set called Dot Spot. I can already tell it's gonna be a favorite! I also got the fillable frames #1 along with the coordinating sentiments. I ran the die right through my Cuttle Bug and it cut like butter! I can't wait to try the other goodies I got! For my card I stamped randomly with three different size dots onto ivory card stock in Raspberry Fizz, Berry Sorbet and Chocolate. Then cut it out and matted with coordinating papers. Have a good one!

Hello!
Well I finally got a card made for the Color Throwdown this week and while I was browsing around I found this other cool challenge called the Creative Belli Blog that you had to add a butterfly or dragonfly somewhere on your card. Critter Sketch Challenge Blog #1

Hello!
Welcome to the first challenge at Critter Sketch Challenge Blog! I am so happy to be part of the design team and I hope you will stop by and give us a try! The challenge blog will offer a wide range of challenges from sketch to theme to color, etc. This weeks challenge is a sketch that has to include the color red somewhere on the card. In honor of CSCB's first challenge I thought my first card should have "critters" on it! LOL! My DP paper is digi paper and it's from MTME. All the critters on my DP are available in digi stamps or acrylic.

supplies; cardstock-PTI, DP-MTME, ribbon and flowers-msic.

Cake & Candles

Good Morning!

How about a slice of Birthday cake to start the day off with? If you'd like a piece head on over to Stretch N' Bubbles. I colored this image in with my Copics and then went over the frosting with my clear Spica pen. It gives it some pizazz!

A Good Friend

Hello
This is my take on the sketch over at Unscripted Sketches this week. I had a small pad of K&Company paper that I've been wanting to use and it was perfect to give a rustic feel to this card. I used my PTI stamp set On My Couch. My Stampin' Up border punches a little distressing ink and i was done. Inside it says, hoping you're fully "Re-covered" soon!

LOVE YOU Tons!

Hello!

I finally got a chance to make a card for this weeks challenge! Yeah! My image of the flower has a lavender hue to it and that's how I started my card for this challenge was with this image. I made four different layouts using the challenge colors and simplicity is what I finally settled on. I hope you like it! My son (The card critic) wanted me to make a card for his girlfriend but this one didn't pass his inspection. He said it's just not my style! Go figure LOL!...anyway it's my last one of the season! Happy Valentines Day!

Good morning!
It's Wednesday and you know what that means its Digi free Wednesday at Stretch N' Bubbles so head on over and see what Alison has in store for you. I colored this little "rat" in with my copics and then I thought I'd tear my paper to make it look like he was digging his way through a wall or into some sort of hole. Hope ya dig em'! LOL!!!

With Love...

Good Mornin'

I thought I would post this because Valentines Day is just around the corner and she is cute and I just wanted to share her with you guys. She is a digi image from Wink Wink Ink.

I happen to love animals and she has a wide variety of the cutest critters ever!

I found these doilies at Wally World last week and they work great for my cards. I actually cut two circles to make an oval and you can't even tell! I added a little fur material around the button to make it feel really girly. My craft shopping is limited so I need to be creative if I want to add some zing to things! LOL!

Pete Bird

Good Monday Morning!

Today I have this card to share with you. It is called Pete Bird and he is available today at Stretch N' Bubbles. I used my Label one dies to cut and mat him. I had just gotten this new paper from G.C.D. studios. Love their paper ! I layered up some different flowers I had to coordinate with the colors in my DP and there you have it. I think he came out pretty nice!
