Secret Crafter- Saturday challenge

Hello!

This weeks challenge over at the Secret Crafters Saturday challenge is to "distress". It's a boy's birthday card and what better to rough up then that! These are not the typical colors I would think to distress but I like how it turned out! This image is called Love Machine and it is available over at the Stretch N' Bubbles store. I colored him in with my copics, gave his teeth a little sparkle with my clear Spica pen. I used some white distressing ink to distress the black edges and distressed all my edges with my distressing tool! That's about it. Thanks for stopping by!

Waltzingmouse April Blog Hop

Hello,
Here is my entry for this months blog hop at Waltzingmouse Stamps.  It was to make a Mothers Day card.  I used my new stamps Spring Baskets from WM.  I combined the two baskets and made one tall basket.  I saw that idea on someones blog.  I can't remember where though.  I stamped each word individually from the sentiment so it would fit nicely onto my card.  I cut apart the flowers to fill the space on the bottom right hand corner and had to add the bee just because!!!  Thanks for hopping by and now i'm off to see what everyone else has created!

supplies; Paper/Ink-PTI, Design paper(digi)-MTME, MS-scallop punch, Copics

Hello,
I'm back again with another image from Stretch N' Bubbles called Teacup Flourish.  Which is a new image for April and it is available in the Stretch N' Bubbles store.  I made this card to enter it in The Secret Crafters Saturday challenge.  It has to be a "Get Well' card.  I figured this was perfect for a get well card.  There is nothing better then a spot of tea to make one feel right as rain again! LOL!!! I hope you like it and thanks for taking the time to stop by and have a look!  ;0)

Bird with Balloon

Good Morining!
Well this Sunday is nothing like last Sundays weather. I don't have to worry about looking to pasty in my shorts this weekend!  LOL!  We are back down into the low 40's brrr!  It's a good day to do some crafting and catch up on some projects I have going for some people.  I have to make a 12x12 scrapbook for May 1st.  The woman just gave me some stuff for it yesterday and she wants the theme to be quilting.  Man I need some inspiration if anyone knows of quilting layout patterns let me know??!!!    It's the deadline that's stressing me and that anything I need to get has to be on line because there are no craft stores within a hundred mile radius!!! Grrrr!!!

On to my card...This image is called Bird with Balloon and its available as a digi over at Stretch N' Bubbles.  I pulled out a bunch of old Creative Memories paper and colored the birds and balloon to match the paper.  While I was at it I decided to follow this weeks sketch over at CPS.  Thanks for taking the time to stop by! ;0)

Play Date Cafe challenge #24

Hello
This  is my card for this weeks challenge over at The Play Date Cafe.  We have to use plum, lavender and cream.  I can tell you that I'm not a purple girl cuz I couldn't find to much of it in my stash the only thing I could find  was some old CM patterned paper.   I had just enough of the DP for this card.  I had ordered some  Just Rite stamps last Friday after I saw a tuitorial on making this kind of card.  I didn't have any round stamps to speak of and thought it would be fun to try these.  I really like them too!!!  Can't wait to play with them.  I just don't seem to have enough time lately...rrrrh!

Secret Crafter- Saturday challenge

Hello
This weeks challenge over at the Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge is to make a card with a garden theme. I chose my image from the Greeting Farm. I made a gate fold card for this one and I used my digi paper from MTME along with the stamp set Just for You for my sentiments and wheelbarrow on the inside of my card.

Critter Sketch Challenge #8

Good Monday Morning!

What a beautuful weekend we had here in New England. It was just like summer had arrived but i'm sure we are gonna pay for this! It's all a tease! Although at least we got a jump start on the yard work. It always feels good to get things cleaned up and raked. So when the good weather does come to stay we can enjoy it!

We are on week #8 at the Critter Sketch challenge blog already and this week it's a sketch with a little twist you must add gingham to your project. It can be paper ribbon or whatever as long as it has some!! I used some digi gingham from MTME along with Miss Anya Dressy from The Greeting Farm for my card.
We also have the very talented Kim Howard joining us as our guest designer for the month of April.

The Color Dare #62

Hello
This is my card for the Color Dare this week. I used my Springtime Doodles from PTI for this one. It's a fun set that has lots of elements to make fun cards with and it paired nicely with PTI's fillable frames die and stamp set. After I was done coloring my image in with my Copics I ran it through my cuttle bug with the dots folder then added my flowers I had cut out with pop-ups. I decided to leave them plain and to just add some pearl dots to their centers and that's about it. Thanks for stopping by!

Just Us Girls Challenge #27

Hello,
The weather here is crazy!!! It's like 84 degrees outside. I can tell you I'm not ready I'm way to pasty looking in my shorts!!! Yuck!
This is my entry for the sketch challenge over at Just Us Girls this week. This image is from Pink Cat Studios. I colored the cute little flowers in with my Copics and then airbrushed a pale yellow over them because I thought my background was to white. Now it looks more earthy like the DP papers(which made me happy!!!) I used my clear spica pen on the petals for a little shimmer (which you probably can't see). Thats about it. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Easter!!!
