It's In the Bag

Good Morning!
Today is sneak peak day for all the goodies that will be available tomorrow at My Time Made Easy

This month it's back to school and what better then this adorable little knapsack that is super easy to put together!  It makes for a perfect little back to school gift set for a little girl.  I filled mine with some mini shampoo, conditioner, hairspray and a few hair clips for my friends daughter.  I'm going to give this to her when I do her back to school haircut!

I used the new It's in the Bag template along with the new digi stamp set Back to School and digi paper from the new Under the Cabana pack.

MTME #20 Review 1-6

Good Morning!

If the sketch looks familiar it is because this week at MTME's Pretty Pattern challenge we are doing a review.  The challenge is to pick one sketch from sketches 1 thru 6 and use that for this weeks challenge.  I chose sketch #3 for my card this week.  I used the acrylic stamp set Bee-Loved for my flowers and the digi sentiments from Bee-Loved for my sentiment because I wanted to shrink my sentiment to fit this sketch.  I also used the cut file for my flower (I just cut closer around the stamped image for this card).  I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week!  For all the deets head on over to the challenge blog!  Have a great day!

This One's in the BAG!!!

Good Morning!

This week our hostest over at Just Us Girls is the very talented Dana.  She is challenging us to decorate a bag! I just bought a plain gift bag for 59 cents and then stamped it with PTI's Dot Spot and made a layered label with my Spellbinders die and added my sentiment from MTME's Sentimental Occasions!  Now I have a really cool looking gift bag!  Sounds like fun am I right???  I hope you all get a chance to give this one a try!

Here are a few pictures I took on my trip to Eagle Island Off the coast of Maine this week. This is the summer home of Adm. Robert E. Perry the explorer who was the first to reach thf ie North Pole in 1909.  It was really cool to see all the lighthouses and just how many islands there are off the coast of Maine.  The summer home of Perry still has all the original furniture from the late 1800's early 1900's.  It's so cool to look at all the antiques and old books!  I was in heaven!!!

MTME Pretty Patterns #18

Hello!
Awe!!!  This is the best week for a vacation let me tell ya!!!  Here on the coast of Maine it is just a perfect 90 degrees just the way I like it!  Today we're going on a cruise to Eagle Island.  If I get some good pics I'll post them here on Saturday!

It's also Thursday and that means it's time for another challenge from MTME's Pretty Patterns Sketch challenge.  This weeks sketch I chose to use mostly MTME digi papers with just the sentiment on the inside.  I used  Flutters and Flowers, Blooming with Elegance and Dainty Damask for my card.  I hope you decide to give the sketch a try this week!  All the deets are available over at the MTME blog.  Enjoy your week!
