JUGS #88 technique challenge

 Good Morning !
This week the ever so talented Pam is our hostest over at Just Us Girls with a really fun technique you are going to want to try!  A tutorial can be found here for woodgraining.  In the video it shows using yellow paper.  I tried it with the yellow and didn't like the look I got so I turned to cream for mine.  It really does look like woodgrain!  I used the PTI stamp set Father Knows Best for my image.  I hope you all get a chance to step outside the box and give this technique a try!  Have a great day ladies!

Check out the rest of the JUGS blogs  and our guest designer Rosemary for more inspiration.

How to play: You need to upload your project for this week's challenge to your online blog or public photo gallery. Leave a link that goes directly to your project in the Inlinkz form at the bottom of this post. If you upload to online galleries, please also use the keyword or tag, JUGS88.

  2. Darn - I typed up my whole comment then got a Blogger error - DARN DARN! SO here's my REAL comment - I came back after my "test" message...

This is just lovely lovely. Your faded blue (or purple?) background remind me of the beach homes where I grew up - weathered from the wind and sea. I love the simple clean and balanced layout to finish this - it makes the image just POP right off. Thanks for a fabulous job showcasing this technique, Kathryn!
