Now...That's a Wrap

Hello!
It's time again for a preview from My Time Made Easy.  This little template is called That's a Wrap and is just perfect for putting jewelry in for a birthday or Christmas which is fast approaching!  I hinted to my significant other that this box would be just perfect for that diamond necklace I saw this weekend at Pandora!  Hee! Hee!
I just love this box and I will surely be making this in all sorts of colors and with the selection of digi paper that we have being released...YUMMY FUN!!!  I used this digi paper from Parade of Patterns.

MTME Pretty Pattern #29

Hello!
I love a square card and for this weeks sketch I used another one of last months release images from the Woodland Creatures.  I like making them 4.25 x 4.25.  This size card is just perfect for making baby cards.  I hope you get a chance to play along with us this week.  For all the deets head on over to the MTME challenge blog!!!

"Barking" Up the Right Tree

Hello!
I just have to say that it feels Soooo good to be back with my fellow "Jugsters"!  This week it's a 3-D/Technique challenge  that Maria is hosting and the challenge is to alter a tissue box.  I thought because it had to have a fall theme...why not get stuff from the woods around my house!  I just love all the rich colors of fall!  This idea came to me based off some fall checkered ribbon I thought I owned!!! (I conjured this ribbon up in my head and let me just say it's beautiful and would have looked FANTASTIC on this altered box)! Aaaah... All I can say is the drugs I was on enhanced my creative immensely!!!  God help me!!!

I used some White Birch that I took off some fallen trees.  I cut them to the size of the tissue box panels and then adhered them to the box with some Zip Dry glue.  I then added some burlap around the top that I inked it up with some Tim Holtz distress ink for a rustic look.  I found these twigs that were changing color along with some dried grass that I thought matched my Burnt Orange ribbon rather nicely!

I thought that I would add some fall Potpourri to my box and I think I'm gonna bring it to work and put it on my work station so I can enjoy it myself!

Check out what the rest of the Just Us Girls team and our September guest
designer  Monique Hansen have created to get your creative juices flowing!

MTME's Pretty Pattern # 28

Good Morning!
Well it feels good to be back and crafting again!  I was out of commission for a couple of weeks recovering from effects of a leaky gallbladder recking havoc internally and eventually having my gallbladder removed.  Lot's of pain I wouldn't wish upon anyone!  Now I'm back to work and crafting!  My mojo was completely wiped out there for a bit!  Thank goodness it came back!!!  LOL!!!

This is my take on this weeks MTME Pretty Pattern challenge.  Now that the kids are back in the swing of school and stuff we can all get back to the business of crafting!  I hope you get the chance to play along with us this week!  I used Fun Flowers digi paper and my sentiment is from the Sensational digi pack.  My ribbon was just white that I striped matching colors with my Copics.

A "Beary" Happy Birhtday

Hello!
Here is another cutie from the new release over at My Time Made Easy!  This is  another one of the very adorable digi images from the brand new set Woodland Creatures that are available today for purchase.  I used this little bear and some digi paper from Under the Cabana for my card this week over at the MTME sketch challenge.

It feels good with the kids back in school now for the simple reason of getting back down to the business of crafting!  It is just way to hard in the summer!  I manage somehow only because it's an addiction of sorts!!!  LOL!!!  I hope you get a chance to come and play along with our sketch this week.

Tricky Treats!

Hello!
Back for another sneak peak at the goodies available today over at My Time Made Easy!  This template is called Tying Up Loose Ends along with one of the new Halloween images that are all available today!

I hate the way this photographed it looks way better in person!
    Grrrr!

This little template is just the right size to fill with a little Halloween treat for a kids party.  I love making little bags of candy corn mixed with Planters dry roasted peanuts and slipping them into a little mini sandwich bag inside of this template.  It's a perfect sized quick and easy treat that tastes just like Peanut butter fudge!  Seriously!!!  Give this one a try!  I hate candy corn by itself but this way...Yummy!!!
