JUGS # 79 Acrylic Smash Technique

Good Morning!

This week Maria is hosting our technique challenge.  She is challenging us to make a card or project using the Acrylic Smash technique.  The tutorial can be found here.  I used my PTI Damask Designs stamp set to make my card.  I used Tim Holtz's distress inks in peeled paint, milled lavender and dusty concord to achieve the look I got.  I still don't have a light for my photo tent it's en route and I can't wait to have it!  So pardon the photo!

Supplies; Tim Holtz-distress inks, prima flower, PTI-stamp sets (Damask Designs), PTI-cardstock, Cuttlebug embossing folder.

  8. Well, shoot now! I knew I was missin' something SPECTACULAR in my crafty life and I JUST FOUND it! Geeze, LOUISE! I'm so sorry I never got here the week of... Started drooling over this fabby piece of amazing technique and talent RIGHT OFF THE BAT, but I got lost in the whole b-day thing! So sorry, love! I think we might need to trot out this technique again, soon! It's positively stunning and perhaps folks were too distracted by spring, or taxes or something to play along, because, honey, baby, sweetheart: this card makes me want to get inky ALL OVER AGAIN! Love it, dear! xoxoxo!
