Be My Valentine

I made this card based on the Photo Inspiration Challenge that Mellisa Phillips has started over on her blog. The photos are just beautiful to look at and look at...if you have time go check it out.

My red turned into a deep red the longer I fooled around with this project so that's what I ended up using. I have a Tim Holtz post card stamp that worked perfectly for my card (thanks to my sons reminder). I made my own sentiment off the computer using a font from CTMH. The button and background stamp are PTI along with the CHI ink I used to distress my edges.

Just Us Girls Wild card Challenge-18

Hello!

I'm gonna come right out and just say that the photo does not do it justice. This banner looks soooo! much better in person. (I almost didn't enter it). Then I figured after spending the afternoon making it....i'd better. So here it is I took photos in the house and outside.

Hugs & Kisses

Good Morning

This little image called Be Mine Turtle is available today over at Stretch N' Bubbles. I used my Copics to color him in. My heart I made on my Cricut machine. With the Cricut design software you can change the size and look of any of the images or letters so they fit to the size of your projects. Love it!!! I placed the heart over a flower twisted two pieces of ribbon and secured it into place with a heart brad. I wanted to incorporate all my colors around the sentiment which is from PTI.

Charlotte

Hello !

Here is the second image in the CHA Marathon over at The Greeting Farm. I based it on the sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 You. Which is perfect for this little gal.

Mer Ian

Good Morning!

The Greeting farm is having a CHA Relay contest. You must first post a card in the gallery with Mer Ian and once you do that then they send you the next days image and you do it again the only way to keep getting the free images is if you submit the digi image of the day. Fun! Fun!

supplies; Three Bugs in a Rug-Island paper pack, PTI-cardstock,Copic markers,brads-misc.

You Make my heart sing

Good Mornin'
This is my take on this sweet lil' image called Kissy Face that is available over at Stretch N' Bubbles today. I used my Copic markers to color the snails in and then I thought they needed a little something more so I added polka dots to them with my White inkessentials pen. I didn't have any green floss to match for my stitched border so I colored some white floss with a Copic marker to match my color scheme.

The Character Cafe

Here is my project I made for The Character Cafe challenge using one of thier digi images along with a MTME template called All a Flutter. The Character Cafe has some really cute digi images. These pups are sooo cute! I put flowers on each corner flap and the ribbon on one flap so it would still open. A perfect little box for some Valentine treats!

Color Dare #52

Hello!

Wow! I was so happy to receive an Honorable Mention for my card i made for the Color Dare last week! Anyway this is my card for this weeks challenge. The color combo this week is one of my favorites so of course I wanted to play along. I used my brand new fresh out of the box PTI stamp set Baby Button Bits. Instead of putting buttons in the center of the flowers I just used paper. I colored the rest with my Copics and used my new clear Spica pen to give the outside and dots on the DP a little bling. It shows up really good in person. Hope you like it!

Dress Stand

Good Morning!

This image goes on sale today at Stretch N' Bubbles. The Dress Stand reminds me of old times and definitely has to be vintage for me! I printed the top section on green paper and cut it out and adhered it to the image on the cream card stock. I colored the rest of it in with my Copic Markers. I then put liquid glass on the beads that are on the fringe and on the stand. It's hard to see that in the picture but it's there! My sentiment inside says, Thanks for your support!

The flower I just punched out two of different colors and over layed them added a couple of buttons and twine.

Supplies; Prima paper-Cavalier collection, twine, brown distressing ink, Fiskars-flower punch, sentiment-Pink Cat Studios

Hello Kitty...

This is a card I made awhile back with Magnolia stamps I got this past summer. I first stamped the kitty then masked the leaves over him so it looks like he's lying on top of them. Have a good one!

Liberty

Good Monday Morning!

The weekends just seem to fly by so fast. I never seem to have enough "me" time there is always something to do like laundry, pick up or bring the kids some where. I suppose when they're all grown up I 'll have plenty of "me" time and then I'll be wishing the opposite where true! Can't win! LOL!

This sweet little image is Liberty and she is just precious. I wanted to make mine with auburn hair for a change it seems like little princesses always have blonde hair...I wonder why that is...? I'm sure it has nothing to do with Cinderella! She is available today over at Stretch N' Bubbles. Snag her while you can!

Just Us Girls Color Challenge #16

Good Morning,

Here is my card for this weeks Just Us Girls challenge I finally finished this morning! I started it yesterday morning at a crop I went to. (It's a monthly crop a few girls do at our local hospital to raise money for Relay for Life which is awesome!!! )

When I saw the colors for this challenge I knew I had to us my little pony I had gotten from Wink Wink Ink . If I hadn't gone to that crop yesterday my card would look totally different! LOL! Because... the heart embossing folder and the Spellbinders Heart nestabilities I borrowed (which I totally have to get!) I used the digi paper from MTME for the heart and I added stitching around the heart which I've been practicing since last weeks challenge! Anyway...have a good one!

I colored him in with my Copics and added a little liquid glass to his antenneas. He goes on sale today at Stretch N' Bubbles.

Don't forget it's also digi free Wednesday at Stretch N' Bubbles!

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge

Hello!

This looked like a fun sketch and I do love sketches! So here is my take on this weeks sketch over at Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge.
I used an image from Squigglefly that I printed out on Kraft card stock from PTI and colored it in with my copics. I like using Kraft card stock because you just have to color the images with a hint of color and they look awesome! I love to rip and ink paper it's one of my favorite techniques. My sentiment is from Bird Watching PTI again. Have a good one! :0)

Just Us Girls Technique Challenge

Here's my take on the Just Us Girls Challenge this week. We had to add stitching to our project and this is my attempt. Lets just say my work does not match my sentiment! I didn't find the swirling of the paper while I was stitching to be so easy! LOL I'm bound and determined to do better though. I used my Cricut to cut the butterfly pieces from MTME out. Wow! WHAT a piece of cake that was! I'm so excited to be able to cut SVG files with my Cricut now. The possibilities are endless! For my project I used the All A Flutter stamps from MTME and all my paper is old CM paper I have.

Creativity Challenge #11

This has to be short and sweet because I'm exhausted! I was determined to get this card done and posted before heading off to bed for The Play Date Cafe. So here it is. I used Flutters and Flowers (SVG file) from My Time Made Easy . This is just the coolest thing now I can use my Cricut to cut any SVG files I like in any size I like. My head has just been swimming with ideas the last week or so. I finally got everything up and running and had to give it a try for this card anyway... my paper is also from MTME it's a digi paper (love it!) The sentiment is PTI (Mega Mixed Messages). Hope you like it!

Color Throwdown #74

Well! Here is a card I made for the Color Throwdown challenge. I used my new digi papers from My Time Made Easy for all my back ground papers. I just printed them out in a 4x6 size instead of making a whole big sheet of each one. This cute little digi image I picked up this morning over at *Wink *Wink Ink. I thought it was SOoo cute! I made my flower with a Fiskars flower punch I put two together and it seems to match the flowers on the DP paper close enough. I'm still waiting on some software to upgrade my cricuit so I can use the cut files that match the papers from MTME! Can't wait!

Scraps

Happy New Year!

The challenge at Nichole's blog was to create a card from scraps we had lying around . http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/ I created mine with scraps I had left over from my project I created for the October blog hop at Paper Trey Ink http://papertreyink.com/. I used some rustic button twine to create a flower for the card and added a button in scarlet jewel to match the paper and ink. I had some ribbon that I had stamped a sentiment on and not used before that went perfectly on the card! :0) Have a good one!
