My red turned into a deep red the longer I fooled around with this project so that's what I ended up using. I have a Tim Holtz post card stamp that worked perfectly for my card (thanks to my sons reminder). I made my own sentiment off the computer using a font from CTMH. The button and background stamp are PTI along with the CHI ink I used to distress my edges.

The Greeting farm is having a CHA Relay contest. You must first post a card in the gallery with Mer Ian and once you do that then they send you the next days image and you do it again the only way to keep getting the free images is if you submit the digi image of the day. Fun! Fun!
supplies; Three Bugs in a Rug-Island paper pack, PTI-cardstock,Copic markers,brads-misc.
This is my take on this sweet lil' image called Kissy Face that is available over at Stretch N' Bubbles today. I used my Copic markers to color the snails in and then I thought they needed a little something more so I added polka dots to them with my White inkessentials pen. I didn't have any green floss to match for my stitched border so I colored some white floss with a Copic marker to match my color scheme.

Wow! I was so happy to receive an Honorable Mention for my card i made for the Color Dare last week! Anyway this is my card for this weeks challenge. The color combo this week is one of my favorites so of course I wanted to play along. I used my brand new fresh out of the box PTI stamp set Baby Button Bits. Instead of putting buttons in the center of the flowers I just used paper. I colored the rest with my Copics and used my new clear Spica pen to give the outside and dots on the DP a little bling. It shows up really good in person. Hope you like it!

I used this sweet little cupcake from Stretch N' Bubbles for this weeks Color Dare challenge (my first time!). This is a digi image that I printed out on the yellow dots and then on the pink cut it out and pieced it together for this card. I love paper piecing! Oh yes! this image is available for "free" because it's digi free Wednesday at Stretch N' Bubbles!

Here's my take on the Just Us Girls Challenge this week. We had to add stitching to our project and this is my attempt. Lets just say my work does not match my sentiment! I didn't find the swirling of the paper while I was stitching to be so easy! LOL I'm bound and determined to do better though. I used my Cricut to cut the butterfly pieces from MTME out. Wow! WHAT a piece of cake that was! I'm so excited to be able to cut SVG files with my Cricut now. The possibilities are endless! For my project I used the All A Flutter stamps from MTME and all my paper is old CM paper I have.

Well! Here is a card I made for the Color Throwdown challenge. I used my new digi papers from My Time Made Easy for all my back ground papers. I just printed them out in a 4x6 size instead of making a whole big sheet of each one. This cute little digi image I picked up this morning over at *Wink *Wink Ink. I thought it was SOoo cute! I made my flower with a Fiskars flower punch I put two together and it seems to match the flowers on the DP paper close enough. I'm still waiting on some software to upgrade my cricuit so I can use the cut files that match the papers from MTME! Can't wait!
Wow I'm still having a hard time wrapping my brain around the year 2010! It seems like we just celebrated the year 2000 and here we are ten years later already...

This is my take on Brother Bears which is available for purchase starting today. I put an overlay of swirls and snowflakes on top of the bears and popped it up with pop-ups so it kinda looks like they are playing out on a snowy day!

This is the best weekend ever! I have four days off! We are having a snowstorm and I get to scrap and make cards for for days straight! I get all the house work done first thing in the morning and the rest of the day is mine! Life is good! It's giving me a chance to catch up on making Thank you cards for all the Christmas goodies my customers have given me for the holidays. I love this stinkin' cat so much. It's the third card I've made with it! It was this past Wednesdays freebie over at Alisons blog Stretch N' Bubbles . Stop by and check out all the cool digi images she has.
Monday will be my first post as a designer for Stretch N' Bubbles! I'm so happy to have been chosen and to be working with a great bunch of gals over there. ;0)
O.K. to my card... For the challenge over at Just Us Girls I printed her out on some bitty dots paper from PTI cut her out added the nose, belly and tail in white to her. I inked the edges of my papers too.
supplies; all paper PTI sentiment is from Damask Designs, ink true black, CHAI, flower misc.
Well after much thought as to what I was going to make with these colors... I finally finished something!!! Yeah! I used the stamp set Turning a New Leaf and for the flowers With Sympathy from PTI along with a sentiment from them. I colored the flowers with my copics embossed the brown paper and there you have it! Have a good afternoon! I have a date with my son to play Mario for awhile...

The challenge at Nichole's blog was to create a card from scraps we had lying around . http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/ I created mine with scraps I had left over from my project I created for the October blog hop at Paper Trey Ink http://papertreyink.com/. I used some rustic button twine to create a flower for the card and added a button in scarlet jewel to match the paper and ink. I had some ribbon that I had stamped a sentiment on and not used before that went perfectly on the card! :0) Have a good one!
