Papertrey blog hop

Hello!

I got my inspiration from this picture of lupine it is a flower that grows wild all around Northern New England this time of year. I just think it's so beautiful. It comes in all sorts of colors my favorite is the purple. I used rustic cream card stock along with the Chai distressing ink. Stamps from Life, With Sympathy and my sentiment is from the new Vintage Picnic. Have a great evening!

Here is my take on the CPS Sketch. I used material for my background on this one (blue). I thought it gave the card a little texture because the layout was simple. I felt it gave the card something. I took a picture of the inside just to show the saying. I used my Papertrey Star prints stamp set along with the new Scarlet Jewel paper and ribbon. I'm lovin' that color. Take care!

Here is my entry in this weeks Saturday Challenge over at the Secret Crafter blog. The challenge was to use pink and green. Have a good one! I used my Lily at the Beach from Pink Cat Studios. I put her hat and the turtles head on with pop-up dots to give it some dimension.

I was looking for something for graduation and happened across their web site and found these images. I used our school colors for them along with my Star stamp set from Papertrey for a background on each card. Have a good one!

Squigglefly June "guest" designer

Good morning!

I can't believe how lucky I am! I was asked to be the June "guest" designer for Squigglefly. Their website http://www.squigglefly.com/ has one of the largest selections of digital images I've come across yet. What I love best is that you just pick out the images you want. Pay for them and less then a minute or two you have them. Instant gratification which is what I'm all about. I love that I can size them and flip them anyway I like. I made this card using one of their images. The paper and sentiment are from Papertrey. I used pop-up dots to give my image a little dimension. I took a close up to show you what I did. I used my Copic markers to color her in. I always color around what ever I cut out (her head) with a black or matching marker to give it a finished look I hate looking at white edges. It doesn't look neat to me. Anyway... have a great day! Check back tomorrow for another card I made using one of their images.
