Together Forever...

Good Morning Ladies!
Well this week our challenge is a wild card challenge!  Lisa being our hostest thought that we should create a wedding card on account of today being a very special day for our fellow DT member. Pam's daughter is getting married this weekend and Just us Girls thought it would be a fun challenge in her honor!  I hope you'll find some time to create a card and play along with us this week!  This is also the last week for our guest designer Debbie Marcinkiewicz.  Thanks Debbie for all your beautiful inspiration!!!

I new exactly what I wanted to do for this challenge and that was use my Magnolia wedding stamps!  I colored them in with my Copics and then cut them out.  The white paper I matted them on I added some swirls from PTI to match the black paper and then placed them onto it with pop-ups.  The sentiment I cut out of the coordinating design papers.  The hearts I cut out from some glitter paper with my Spellbinder dies then just added flowers and a little lace.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!!!

Supplies;  PTI card stock, Magnolia stamps, DP-Karen Foster (bridal blooms), Best Creations (Mr. & Mrs.), ribbon/lace- misc., Stickles-clear

Simply Asian

Hello!

This little cutie is called Tooling from the Zen Collection and she is available at the Stretch N' Bubbles store now.  I'm putting her in the challenge being held over at Creative Inspirations Challenge blog.

The challenge this week is anything goes and a chance to be a guest designer along with some cool prizes!  I colored her in with my Copics and then paper pieced her dress together with some DP paper from PTI.  I used two Doilie tags that I cut in two to make my background with from MS.  Cut up a Prima flower for the sides, it sort of reminds me of a fan that an Asian women would carry.  My sentiment is from PTI's All About You.  That just about covers it!  Thanks for stopping by!

Dear Friend

Good Monday morning!
Yep! It's Monday and that means it's time for another challenge over at The Critter Sketch Challenge blog!  This week is just a sketch challenge and this is the last week for our sponsor Robyn's Fetish.  They have some of the most adorable images!  I enjoyed playing with them very much!  Stop by the store and check out all the adorable digi's she has in her store!

This is my card that I made using the above sketch.  I first chose my papers then colored in my image (peterdapuppy) to match.  So much easier to do it that way I don't find myself having to go through my paper stash looking for the perfect match which I never find!   Stop by the Critter Sketch blog for more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team!

JUGS Template Challenge #43

Good Morning Ladies!
It's Saturday again already and that means it's time for another challenge over at Just Us Girls and this week our hostess with the mostest is Dana!  This week it's a template challenge and the design team  got to pick a template from Kelleigh Ratzlaff over at the Digichick.  You can use any template you like but Kelleigh has a free template here that you can use or she has a great selection of templates for sale in her store!  You will definitely want to play along because the prize this week is...

$10.00 gift certificate from the Digichick store.

For my project I used the Funky bag #2 which was perfect for the gift set I wanted to make.  I wanted to make my bag small enough to hold a gift card.  The template was so easy to put together it literally took me five minutes!  One of the fastest projects I've ever created!  LOL!!!  I created my ruffled edge by running score tape on the backside of the flap and then just bunched up my ribbon until it looked the way I wanted it to!  I liked it so much I decided to use it on my coordinating card!  My flower bunches I just cut from the paper and adhered them with pop-ups and added some branches i made with my MS punch!  I hope you are inspired by my project to give it a go yourself!  I can't wait to see what everyone creates!  Have a great day!!!

To play you need to upload your project for this week's challenge to your online blog or public photo gallery. Leave a link that goes directly to your project in the Inlinkz form at the bottom of the JUGS post. If you upload to online galleries, please also use the keyword or tag, JUGS43.

Play Date Cafe challenge #37

Hello!

Well I'm finally on vacation and it feels soo good!   I needed a break because I've been so busy at work lately that it's seriously affecting my creative mojo!!!  LOL!!!  I am at our summer place in Old Orchard Beach ME for ten glorious days!  Yippee!

On to my card...At The Play Date Cafe this week Julie is hosting a new challenge based on a inspirational photo!  I love these kind of challenges because you aren't locked in to specific colors!!!  When I saw the inspirational photo I knew I was going to use the blue for sure cuz it just popped right out at me. The other colors I chose worked well with the blue or so I think.  My Dolie I sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist in shades of yellow and red.  I colored in my image from All That Scraps with my copics to match. I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Ink Spray and Smash

Good Morning!
This weeks Just Us Girls challenge is being hosted by Maria and she has chosen this really cool technique called Ink, Spray and Smash which can be found here on Splitcoast Stampers.  I had never tried this before and wasn't exactly sure how my card would turn out because each piece that I did looked Sooo different even though I was using the same colors (that's the fun of it).  I was so happy the way my card turned out!  I decided my piece was to pretty to cover up so I made it the focal point of my card.  I cut it into strips and matted it with a color that I pulled from my smashed piece.  I hope you give this technique a try!!!  I would love to see what you come up with!

It's all about style

Good Morning!
This week our Hostess with the most-est is the very talented Pam! She has gotten Just Rite Stampers to sponsor Just Us Girls for this weeks sketch challenge!  I got the chance to play around with the Birthday Wishes Set which I just love! The set works with the 2 3/8" round stamper. They are very versatile in that you can mix and match the borders and the centers.  For my card I stamped them separately then cut them out using Spellbinders nestabilities.  They work perfectly together (JustRite has a chart on their website that tells you which ones to use)..

You will definitely want to play along this week girls!!!  JustRite Stampers has been very generous with their giveaway!  One randomly drawn participant's name will be drawn to win the following:

2 brand new Square Christmas sets with a square stamper and an idea book!!

Wait there's more!!

Then one participant who has used a JustRite stamp on their entry will also have a chance to win  the
Breath of Spring stamp set!
So there will be two prize winners this week!

I'd also like to welcome our featured Designer for this month Debbie Marcinkiewicz.  Welcome Debbie!!!  She is super talented and you can check out some of her beautiful creations over on her blog
