My Time Made Easy...Disc-covered

Good Morning Ladies!!!
I have some wonderful news to share with you!  I am now a member of the elite and ever so talented MTME design team!  I can hardly believe it!  I've drooled over the templates that Lauren has been creating with her company for the last few years and now I get a chance to share my creations with everyone!  Please someone pinch me!!!  LOL!!!   It is so much fun and easy to create these beautiful projects with the cordinating papers and stamps at my finger tips!

This is a sneak peak at the new template called Disc-covered which will be available for purchase tomorrow in the MTME store.  Along with the digi paper called Pop Some Fun that I used on my template and the image and sentiment available from the digi stamp set called Night At The Movies

My youngest son is going to be graduating from Junior High in a couple of weeks and I thought this would be the perfect way to  package up the DVD of his graduation to send off to his Grandparents who live out of town and who definitely don't want to miss thier grandsons' graduation!  I made a cordinating card to go with it also!   I know the old saying "it's not what's on the outside but the inside that counts...in this case I think the packaging is JUST as important!

Stop by Monique and Debbie's blogs they have even more to share with you today!

Have a wonderful day!

C' est la Vie!

Good Morning Ladies!
This week Dana is  our hostest with the mostest over at Just Us Girls and she has come up with a color challenge worthy of a rainbow I tell ya!!!

I've been dying to use these new stamps I purchased from Technique Tuesday when I went to the scrappin' convention a few weeks back!  I accidentally discovered Versa Mark fine and let me tell you as Oprah would say, "it is simply fabulous"!!!  Paired with the fine clear embossing powder!  WOW!!!  I know you're probably thinking SHE definitely isn't the brightest bulb in the palace chandelier cuz everyone knows THAT!!!  Remember though...I've only been stamping for a few years now!

MTME Pretty Pattern #10

Hello Ladies!
It sure feels like it's been raining forever around here!  I'm justing waiting for the animals to go walking by two by two to board Noah's Ark!  Seriously!!!

Seeing that Graduation is just around the corner (again).   I thought I'd make a graduation card using  this weeks Pretty Patterns sketch from MTME.   I love the colors in this Nomad's teal leaf digi paper pack from MTME paired with a sentiment from Sentimental Occasions.  I used the Occasional label cut file to frame and layer the sentiment.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Mother's Day... JUGS style!!!

Good Saturday Morning!
This week Just Us Girls has a sketch challenge for you brought to you courtesy of the ever so talented Pam!  Also it's a new month and time to introduce you to this months guest designer Clare Buswell!

Last Saturday my friend Nancy and I went to the Creative Keepsakes convention that was held in Manchester, NH.  I picked up some really cool looking ribbons and a few stamps I just couldn't resist!  I just love looking at all the ideas and getting some inspiration for future projects!  One of my favorite places to look is called The Button Farm.  I first discovered this awesome company that makes album kits (everything ya need to make it) when I went to a crop on Cape Cod several years back.  I picked up this beautiful vintage beach album that I can't wait to put together and add some beach photos to this summer!  Sigh..life is good!

Enough blabbering!  I imagine you popped by to see my card!!!  Oh yeah!  The reason I was telling you about the convention is because the flower embellies I used on my card came from a free gift I got at the Creative Memories booth when I bought their pop-ups (my favorite).

For special days like Mother's Day I like finding poems or quotes to put on the insides.  It gives it that extra special touch for that very special person.  Sadly my Mom is no longer here with me but she is never far from my thoughts especially on Mother's Day!  Here's to all the Mom's out there...Hope you all have a wonderful day with your loved ones near and far!

Pretty Patterns 08

Good Morning!
Here is my take on this weeks Pretty Pattern sketch from My Time Made Easy.  I felt like making a baby card for a change and the Bringing Home Baby digi set has the most adorable images (like this stork) in it!  This isn't exactly what I was going for but sometimes the card I envision in my head doesn't translate so perfectly onto paper therefor taking me in another direction!  LOL!!!  Anyway I hope you like it just the same and you feel inspired enough to come play along with us this week!

Supplies:MTME digi stamps- Bringing Home Baby, You've Got Mail, Stampin' Up -tag punch, Pop-up dots, Copic Markers, PTI-cardstock
