JUGS #90

Hello!
This week over at the Just Us Girls challenge blog Maria is our hostest and she is challenging us to make a 3-D project with a 4th of July theme.  I chose to make a shadow box that I will insert pictures into.  The reason I didn't is because my printer isn't working!!!  It seems to be lately that it is one thing after another!  Oh Well, when life hands ya' lemons ya' make lemonade!!!  LOL!!!

I picked up this K&Company paper pack called Americana last week that I thought would be just perfect for this weeks challenge. I used pop-ups behind the America is Beautiful strip and between each mat on the 4x6 frames for added dimension.  I love doing shadow boxes because you can take the page out after awhile and slide it into your scrapbook and just insert another one.  My friends and family always love checking the box to see if thier faces have made it onto the wall!!!  LOL!!!

Check out the rest of the JUGS blogs and our guest designer Rosemary for more inspiration.

How to play: You need to upload your project for this week's challenge to your online blog or public photo gallery. Leave a link that goes directly to your project in the Inlinkz form at the bottom of this post. If you upload to online galleries, please also use the keyword or tag, JUGS90.

MTME Pretty Patterns #15

Good Morning!
It sure does feel good to be back!!!  I've had computer issues for the last two weeks Grrrrr!  Also my youngest son had his 8th grade Graduation last Thursday and they wrapped up another year on Friday!  Yipee!!!  I so love summer vacation...no more running around to this and that for two whole months!  Sigh... Life is good!!!

For my card I used the sentiment from Sentimental Occasions from MTME.

JUGS #88 technique challenge

 Good Morning !
This week the ever so talented Pam is our hostest over at Just Us Girls with a really fun technique you are going to want to try!  A tutorial can be found here for woodgraining.  In the video it shows using yellow paper.  I tried it with the yellow and didn't like the look I got so I turned to cream for mine.  It really does look like woodgrain!  I used the PTI stamp set Father Knows Best for my image.  I hope you all get a chance to step outside the box and give this technique a try!  Have a great day ladies!

A Year in Review

Good Mornining!

Here I am back with A Year in Review.  Today I'm showcasing one of my favorite templates from My Time Made Easy called In a Pinch.  I just love how versatile this is to adapt to just about any occasion.  For this one I used the digi paper from the Bee Mine collection.  For my card I used the  Bold Botanicals acrylic stamp set for my matching card.  These are some of my favorite stamps that I find myself reaching for more often then not.

Check out the rest of the MTME's design teams blogs for more new ideas with older releases!

Fresh Popped

If your looking for my Just Us Girls post  scroll down.
Hello!

Today I have another new template to share with you from My Time Made Easy.  This template is called Fresh Popped it is very versatile and easy to put together with or without a cricut!  I filled my box with some chocolates that are wrapped up to look like little baseballs.  This is just the perfect gift for my little nephews Birhtday party that is coming up next month!  The sentiment that I used on my box comes from the new digi stamp set called About To Pop that I placed on the Trendy Tags-set 2 cut file.  For my card I used the new digi stamp from  Got Game?

Be sure to stop by Debbie's blog to see what she's come up with using this same template!

Have a great day and thanks soo much for stopping by!!!

Keeping Strong with MTME's Pretty Patterns #12

Hello!
We had some really wild weather here yesterday afternoon.  I've never seen hail the size of moth balls and bigger!  Our lawn was riddled with them!  I guess we are still luckier then most of the country and I'm very grateful for that.

Here's my take on this weeks MTME's Pretty Pattern sketch challenge.

I used the MTME acrylic stamp set called Keep Strong.

Aah... to be a June Bride-Calendar

Good Afternoon Ladies!

Hello!
I could hardly wait to share my June calendar with you ladies!  These little bears are from Teddy Bo & Co.  They are sooo stinkin' cute!  I first fell in love with them when I saw the calendar that Christine had made a few months back and I've been holding on to this one for this months calendar.  I paired it with Some of my favorite paper from Graphic 45 ( Baby & Bride Collection).  Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
