I colored the little fellow in with my copics cut him out and added pop-ups for a little dimension. That's about it! Thanks for stopping by!

Secret Crafter- Saturday challenge

I have been trying to make Easter cards this afternoon but for awhile I was suffering from stampers block. It wasn't until around four o'clock that things starting happening creatively for me! LOL! I'm sure it had nothing to do with my youngest coming home sick this morning or that there was a fire around the corner from us or that my husband went to the ER because he got some ash in his eye from the fire (he's a firefighter). It has just been one thing after another today. Well isn't that just a typical day for any mom! You bet!
So finally here is my card for the challenge over at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. It was to use pink and green with flowers. This paper comes from a Martha Stewart pack I got at my local craft store (Wal Mart). LOL! My image is from MTME it is a digi stamp set. Perfect for a gal who wants things right away. No waiting!

Papertrey Blog Hop

Hello!

At the last minute I decided to make a project for the blog hop. I couldn't think what to make for it using buttons....then an idea came to me! LOL! I decided to make a basket full of flowers by using the new Picnic Plaid impression plate. I ran a piece of cream card stock through my cuttle bug with the picnic plaid impression plate cut it down to a small square rounded the bottom edges with a corner rounder. With the left over piece I used my MS border punch to give the basket a decorative edge. I inked the basket up with my CHAI. Oh yes! for the handle I just used a circle template and cut it to size and attached it to my basket. I use my new beautiful blooms die to make my flowers. I made the grass with my cricut (Plantin Schoolhouse). I added pop-up for the basket rim and a few flowers for dimension. That's about it and now I'm off to see what everyone else has done! Thanks for hopping by!

Well this weeks challenge is a color challenge using sweet Donald's image for inspiration.

Your challenge is to use the colors Red, Blue, Gold, and White. This does have a little flex as far as the shades are concerned, just get it as close as possible.

For my card I used this little image from the Greeting Farm called Cheeky Glamour. I hope you like her and come give us a try over at The Critter Sketch Challenge Blog. These are such fun colors!!!

Cupcake

Hello!

This image is called Cupcake with dots and swirls and it's available today over at Stretch N' Bubbles. I paper pieced this one together and used just a simple layout for it. This post is short and sweet just like the cupcake! LOL!!! Have a good day!

Play Date Cafe Challenge #21

Hello!

I sat down this afternoon to make my card for the Play Date Cafe and the mailman came just in time with my new PTI goodies. I was so hoping he'd bring it today! There is nothing I like better then new Stuff to play with. I just hope I have enough time to play with it this weekend! Lots going on.

I had some left over pink felt so I decided to make a flower with the new flower dies I got. The sentiment is from the new Delightful Dahlia stamp set I think its so pretty I just had to make a Mothers Day card . I was going to stitch around my yellow mat but didn't have any white thread. I can't believe it! So I think it's naked but my card critic (my son) said it was perfect the way it was!!! O.K. LOL!!! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Color Dare #60

Hello,

Here is my card for the Color Dare Challenge this week. I worked on this little fella' for the last two hours trying to get some sort of layout. I finally decided he didn't need a lot of bling. Lucky

Happy St. Patty's Day!!!
This is my first ever Waltzing Mouse blog hop and I'm excited to be here!!! I've only recently discovered these awesome stamps! So in order to play along I downloaded the free digi image off Claire's blog for this challenge! I colored my four leaf clovers in with my Copics. I added stiching around my mat to mimick the stitching on the stamp and adhered it to some s.e.i fiber mesh that I had in my stash. I ran the next layer behind through my crimper and inked everything up to make it look worn. I added some lace and ribbon also from my stash. My sentiment's are from PTI (all I had that was Irish and would fit). I hope you like it and thanks for coming by to take a peek! I'm off to take a look at every ones projects and make my wish list of stamps I want! LOL!

Just Us Girls Technique Challenge #24

Hello!
I finally got a card done this morning for the Just Us Girls challenge! Yeah! It was to make a flap card. That is a fun little card to make. It was my first time making one and it was fun to make. I like the look of it so I will be making more.
I used the new PTI paper pack-Pretty Pastels along with the Violet and Birthday Basics stamp sets. I just stamped my flower onto some PTI vellum so it would look soft. I tried coloring a few with my Copics and just didn't like the way they looked. I hope you like it and thanks for taking a peek! ;0)

Bunny Behind

Good Monday Morning!

Well it's time for another new release over at Stretch N' Bubbles today. The new digi image is called Bunny Behind. I printed it twice and cut the main part of the body and tail out and adhered them with pop-ups. I cut the grass out on my cricut using the grass from Plantin School Book. I used paper from the new PTI-Egg Hunt paper pack. There is some paper with eggs on it and I just cut a bunch out and stuck them down into the grass with a few peeking through the blades of grass to make him look like he was sitting in a patch of Easter eggs. The grass is also popped out with pop-ups I used the 1/16 for the bunny and the 1/8 for the grass so that it would lay nicely. I used my Copic C1 just to shadow my layers on the bunny a little. That's about it! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I entered him in The Midnight Madness sketch challenge and the Secret Crafter Saturday challenge which was "anything goes". A perfect combo!!! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

I entered this card in the Waltzingmouse color challenge over at Stamping Around. I so would love to go the Stamping around NH in April but I don't want to really go alone....so I guess I'll have to skip it. :0(

This digi image is from Fred...She Said a digi company that has some of the most beautiful floral images ever! I colored this image in with my copics and used my brand new Martha Stewart border punch. The sentiment is from the new MTME-So Sentimental. It's small enough that it makes a great little bitty tag. (All paper is from PTI) I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

It's another digi free Wednesday at Stretch N' Bubbles.
I used some Basic Grey paper to create my card it is just perfect for this image. It's loaded with earthy colors along with some bright bold flowers that work perfectly with a Bee! I cut out four circles from clear card stock added glue and glitter to them. I then cut little slits on the sides of the body and inserted them over the wings to give it a 3-dimensional look.

Tweet Tree

Good Monday Morning!

Well lets just start off by saying we now have enough snow! It has snowed everyday for the last five days! The dogs go out to do their business in the morning and all but disappear from sight. Aah it's just to funny to watch!

Now for my card I decided to paper piece and put pop ups under some sections of the tree top to give the image some dimension! I added a little bit of stitching by hand. I inked all my edges with some distressing ink from PTI. My sentiment is PTI's- Birthday Basics. I'm happy with how it came out! I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!
This image is available today at Stretch N' Bubbles.
