Kitty

Good Morning!

Brr! Is it ever cold out! I got an electric start for my car for Christmas but it doesn't get installed until next week. :( I start to shiver just thinking about going outside to start my car.

This is the image available over at Stretch N' Bubbles for the free digi Wednesday! Isn't she just cute! I do love cats so I'm "probably" just a little impartial. LOL!!! I printed her out on some DP then reprinted her on the white and cut out the heart, nose and tip of the tail to give her a little pop! Don't forget to hop on over to http://www.stretchnbubbles.blogspot.com/ to pick her up.

CPS Year in Review

Hello,
I based my card on sketch #77. I used the free digi Wednesday image available from http://stretchnbubbles.blogspot.com/ for my card. I shrunk the image down to the smallest size I could get it down to then printed it out three times. I then colored them in with my copics to give them just a hint of color. I inked the edges of my papers with a distreesing ink. My cardstock and DP and sentiment are all from PTI.

CPS147

Hello,
I couldn't resist making another Christmas card! I had her all colored in with my copics just sitting there on my desk waiting to be put on a card. I have a bag of greens that I collected on a walk in the woods a few weeks ago that tI hought would be cute on some holiday cards. It fit perfectly behind her! Have a Merry Christmas!

I love the embossing on the paper it gives the card a little "holiday sparkle". It was perfect for this weeks challenge over at the Unscripted Sketches Challenge blog http://unscriptedsketches.com/ I inked the edges of some of the papers for the rustic look and my sentiment is from PTI's Communique Curves. Have a good one!

Chick A Dee

Hello!

Here is my entry for this weeks Mojo Monday. I used my little Chick A Dee from Stretch N' Bubbles. Isn't she cute! She is a digi image that Alison has created and is available over at http://stretchnbubbles.blogspot.com/ . I printed her out on some patterned paper from PTI. I then cut out her flower from a duplicate image and colored that and her nose and feet in with my copics. I added coordinating papers and ribbon (also from PTI) along with a flowery button to match her flower. Have a good one!

Wishing You...

Good Mornin'
The card on the left is obviously the card I entered in this weeks Unscripted Sketch challenge. I just thought the two cards complimented each other and I wanted to share them both with you! For the challenge card I used PTI's Winter Swirls with a sentiment from Tree Trimming Trio. I used a pair of zig-zag scissors to make my top design and a strip of black paper for the vertical one instead of ribbon for a change. My other cards image is from Tim Holtz. I embossed each one with Ranger's Sea foam white embossing powder. It's my day off so i'm now off to do more Christmas shopping! Have a good one!

I love this little tree I cut out the heart and the star and popped them out with pop-ups. I gave the star some shine with liquid gloss and sprinkled some glitter on top. I went with the traditional red, white and green. I added some sparkly fluff on her hat and some stickles on her wings for bling! For the background paper (dots) I used PTI's Polka Dots Basic II and my Martha Stewart snowflake punch. The image is a digi image from All That Scraps that I colored in with my copics.

Play Date Cafe challenge #7

Hello

Well here is my entry for this weeks challenge over at The Play Date Cafe. These are some new digi images I got at All That Scraps. I colored her in with my copics. I used sparkly fluff on her boots and jacket. Used pop-ups on her mug and legs to give the image some dimension. I had her sit on the window sill and I used PTI clear card stock for the glass in the window. Popped the window and the tree out a little with pop-ups. I used the 1/16" thickness so the card wouldn't be to "big". I hope you like her :).

Ho! Ho!

Hello

Its been about a week since I posted anything I was working on another project that required my full attention for a bit. Then I went to Boston for the weekend to visit my friend we had so much fun and now it's back to the grind and Christmas is only three weeks away! Yikees!

I found out while I was away that my card was chosen for "chic of the week" over at http://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com/ YEAH! and Wow! I was so happy :). Anyway... here is a Christmas card I made with one of my Tim Holtz stamps I just stamped him with Dark chocolate from PTI onto Kraft card stock and framed him with an EK border punch that looks like a postage stamp and layered him over a background paper I made. I love how it looks vintage. Have a good one!
